About Kat

State_MedalMy name is Kirsten Aron Tate, but I go by Kat. I am currently 18 years old, and a Senior at Stratford High School where I play volleyball, basketball, and softball. I am hoping to be able to play softball at the collegiate level in the fall after graduation.

As for academics, I am number 34 in a class of 438 with a GPA of 4.8, a member of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club. I plan to major in Children’s Education and minor in Education. After I graduate this year I will be headed to Limestone College in Gaffney, SC.

More about softball, I play outfield for the varsity softball team (we are currently the State Champions), but one of my major focuses in outfield is left field. I can as well play right field, but I am more comfortable in center or left, and I am very quick on my feet. I am a natural left-hander, as well as a slapper, and I am also able to swing away when needed.

Outside of school I have played for the SC Bandits, 18 and under previously coached by Ken Bailey, and now by Nick Stancil. This summer however, I will be playing for the South Carolina Diamond Backs. Please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thank you,
have a swell day.
